Utilizing vocabulary and grammar to develop communicative competence in Arabic at the elementary and intermediate levels
This workshop aims to discuss how to approach the teaching of vocabulary and grammar at the elementary and intermediate levels in a functional way that will help learners, develop their communicative abilities.
The workshop will outline a few principles that should guide the design of vocabulary and grammar teaching activities, with special focus on project-based learning contexts.
The workshop will provide sample activities to illustrate these activities, and will give participants the opportunity to work collectively with other participants on developing activities that meet their programs and students’ needs. Each participant is thus expected to come to the workshop having thought about an activity he/she would like to develop as part of the workshop.
The workshop will be conducted in Arabic.
سُبُل توظيف المفردات والقواعد لتطوير الكفاءة التواصلية باللغة العربية في المستويات الابتدائية والمتوسطة
تهدف هذه الورشة إلى مناقشة كيفية مقاربة تدريس المفردات والقواعد في المستويات الابتدائية والمتوسطة بشكل وظيفي يحقق أهداف التدريس التواصلي ويتيح للمتعلمين تطوير مستوى الكفاءة لديهم. وستنطلق الورشة من عدد من المبادئ المقترح مراعاتها في تصميم نشاطات تعليم المفردات والقواعد مع تركيز خاص على كيفية تطبيق هذه المبادئ والنشاطات في التعليم القائم على المشروعات، ثم تعرض عدداً من النماذج والأمثلة على هذه النشاطات. وستركز الورشة على إتاحة الفرصة أمام المشاركات والمشاركين في الورشة للعمل على تطوير نشاطات خاصة بهم تلبي احتياجات برامجم وطلابهم وذلك عبر التعاون مع باقي المشاركات والمشاركين. لذا، يُتوقَّع من كل مشارك/ـة التفكير في النشاط الذي يود تطويره ضمن فعاليات الورشة.
